Been a long time ....................................
Will add some Maldives pics in the very near future. Another great holiday with Dave and Nicky.
We are off to the Bahamas Christmas 2010. Starting to dust off the dive gear and cameras for some Shark Hunting. Probably going back to the Aquacat so if anyone is in the Blue Parrot on Boxing Day give us a shout. LARRY - YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT!

WELL IT'S ALL OVER FOLKS!
A great finish in the Galapagos on the Agressor and the Sky Dancer. Thanks to all the crew for two great weeks. Also special thanks to Jeff for ensuring that everyone aboard the Sky Dancer was sufficiently catered for with liberal doses of Rum and Coke (it's not easy to hide on a boat as some of the guests discovered!).
Spare a thought for the poor Peruvian locals and bar owners daughters who will (as you read this blog) be being terrorised by Jeff and Chris on their motorcycles. Good luck guys, I hope both of your medical insurance payments are up to date!
Thanks and best wishes to all of the folks we have met and shared good times with over the last few months. Some colourful characters and some great stories (as always when you are at sea). We will endeavour to keep in touch and who knows, hopefully we will meet up with some of you again.
Just for completeness, the breakfast situation in Ecuador is fair to middling. Seek out the curried potato and chicken rissoles, give a wide berth to the traditional sausage (offal) soup. Pancakes and waffles are not forced upon you so it probably gets a 6/10.
We have learnt much on this trip (apart from how to speak Sapnish). Esther has learnt how to secure a lucrative job contract whilst lying in bed in a hotel room in Ecuador, whilst eating Pizza and watching Notting Hill on TV. I have learnt how to cut my hair with a pen knife. Ain't life grand.
More Photos to come when we get back home. Then, time to plan the next dive trip!

Apart from the recent trip, the pictures in the Gallery are from trips we have taken in the Maldives (based on Reethi Beach) and the Bahamas (based in Nassau & liveaboards on M/V Shear Water, Caribbean Explorer and Aquacat). I do most of my diving with Esther my girlfriend and long time buddy. The Boy sometimes comes along too!

Thanks to all the kind folks at Nautilus Explorer, Sea Explorer Reethi Beach, the Aquacat and Caribbean Explorer teams and Jim Abernethy and his crew for all the great dives. If you have read the bad press about Jim, please ignore it. The Shear Water trips are amazing and professionally run. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Keep it up Jim!
